How to run your car on water
Last Updated: July 11th, 2008
If you think $4/gallon gas is outrageous then maybe it's time to switch out the gas pump for the garden hose.

When I first heard about running your car on water, I thought "no way this works."

Then I watched this video

But until recently, this conversion process was difficult and expensive. It certainly wasn't anything a guy like me could do. I can check my oil, and if there's a good looking girl with a flat tire, I can change it - that's about it. So any complicated conversions were not an option.

So I decided to see if there was any info on converting your car to run on water for guys like me. I wanted a product that was low cost, resulted in substantial savings, and was something that a complete novice could do.

Out of all the the products I looked at, I only found 3 that I really felt met my criteria:

  • Dramatic Fuel Savings - at least 40% more fuel efficiency
  • Affordable - had to cost less than $100
  • So Easy A Caveman Could Do It - I'm not a car guy so this had to be easy for me to do

"The Best Water Fuel Kit"

Of all the guides I looked at, this one was the easiest to follow.

What I really liked about this guide is that it didn't assume I knew anything about cars. And the product comes with a full 60 day money back guarantee so there's no risk to you.

And best of all, the parts are easy to get and cheap. They'll cost you less than $50, and with the increase in fuel efficiency you get, you can recoup your investment in just a couple weeks.

It works on any gas or diesel powered vehicle.

July 2008 Update - there's a special going on right now where you can get the product for $49 instead of their regular $297 so ordering sooner than later might not be a bad idea.

The Verdict Fast and easy setup; works for complete car novices; proven savings; all this makes this our top pick

2. Water 4 Gas

My second choice uses the same technology as Run Your Car On Water, and I was impressed by the fact that there's a 60 day money back guarantee and low setup costs.

This one comes with two interesting bonuses worth considering - you can learn how the to get the IRS to pay for the upgrade, and how you can make some serious cash installing this system for other people to the tune of $300/hr.

This is another great system and you'll recoup your investment very quickly with this product.

So why'd it only get four stars? Well, I think my top pick spoiled me a little, but the directions on this one were a little harder to follow for a car dummy like me, so I knocked a star off the rating.

3. GasSaver

This product is similar to the first two in that it's really cheap (less than $50) to perform the conversion and improve your gas mileage.

My only main complaint on this one was that it still wasn't as easy to understand all the diagrams so i knocked off a couple stars on the ease of installation.

The 3 star rating for customer support isn't to say they ignore support requests - it's just they didn't reply quite as fast as the first two when I had questions.
